Too many lights?

Okay, everyone knows that rovers have been used for ever in safaris and jungle trips and so on. And in all these situations there have been brushguards, roof racks, and lights added to the trucks. I have a 2001 Oslo Blue Discovery II SE. I want to put a brushguard with two lights on it for sure but i don't know about the roof rack. I just want to know if people think they look sweet or not and if so, i waht about putting 4 more hella lights on that. Overkill or deer spotting fun?

roof racks are awesome, they look great and they also provide some functional use as well, below you see what we have, we have 2 hella lights up on our roof rack. our roof rack is only a half rack, we thought about both but when it came down to it, its almost impossible to wash and wax under it, so you have to remove it, and its a pain in the butt, i can't even wonder how bad it would be for a full rack. i don't think its overkill, i looks nice on discos due to the boxiness, just make sure you have the roofrack secure b/c they tend to rattle and move around, and it makes you think you have a bad shock, thats what it sounds like as you go over bumps, but really its your roof rack, so make sure you have it bolted down good.

yeah i know, well my uncle bought the lights for my dad for our 87 bronco, but we never got around to putting them on, so when we sold the bronco and got the rover, we put the on the roof rack. the roof rack only has 2 mounting brackets as well, so we didn't feel like fabricating more for more lights
