Brake Lights stay on
My freinds brake lights remain on while there is no brake pressure applied. What could this be? He drives a 99 coug.
Thanks, Ed

It could be the brake light switch mounted on the brake pedel arm, up under the dash. They're not that hard to fix. I would start there. I had a problem like that but opposite, my brake lights wouldn't come on at all, I replaced that switch and it works like new. Keep me posted
