Can I keep my a/c with this intercooler?

Hey guys, I'm in a position to get a hand-me-down intercooler. The car (90 gsx, just like mine) that it's installed on at the moment has no a/c. The intercooler inlet and outlet comes thru the radiator support where the a/c lines go to the condenser. The holes in the radiator support had to be cut out a bit bigger to allow the i/c pipes to pass. My question is this; will I be able to cut the holes big enough for both the i/c pipes and the a/c lines? I know it's hard to tell what I'm talking about without pics, but I'm hoping that someone has run into this already. Let me know, thanks!

Re: Can I keep my a/c with this intercooler?

I know exactly what you are talking about. My friend did it this way on his old 90... But... He removed the AC from his. lol I know where your talking about with the lines and everything though. I'm not entirely sure if it can be done or not, but it would be very very close if you do pull it off... What size of IC pipes are you running? I would just try to stick a section of IC piping through there and see if you can't get it to fit before putting the new FMIC on...

Another option would be to dent the IC pipe for it to fit better with the AC lines maybe...

Or you could re-route the A/C lines.

+1 on that being easier to do then bending a 2.5inch thick pipe. Just just may have to get the thing recharged afterwards because you'll prolly have to let the frion escape.

I just don't see an easier way to reroute those lines, especially without extending them. I'm wondering if denting the ic pipe would work, the only problem I see there is where the ic pipe actually passes thru is where there is a coupler. It'll probably be the weekend before I can really get in there and see what's what. I'll keep you updated and thanks for all the input!
