Look on the side of the block. Should be held in by a single bolt. It can be either in the middle or close to the bell housing. I would anticipate it will be on the firewall side of the engine but not absolutely certain.

Does it have a plug connected to something else? If one single bolt holds it in why does the sensor have 2 holes? If it has a plug should a go around disconnecting the plug to see which fits? Does it definately go in the block or on the tranny? upper or lower engine?

IF it's a 4-cylinder, it's connected to the bottom of the ignition module bracket. you'll have to remove the ICM and coils to replace it. Follow the spark plug wires around the back of the engine to the coil pack and that's where it is.

you cannot see it when installed in the engine. Once you pull the ICM/coils, you'll see it bolted to the bottom sticking out. Diconnect the old one, reconnect the new one, and reinstall the assembly on the engine.
