SupraDupra!

Well, well, I've been very busy with my 'day job', plus there's always work to do around the house, but...I've found some time to put this little number together.

Re: SupraDupra!

I love the car, I love the set-up and I love the way and the color you colored it, but honestly I must say that I'm not a fan of the background. This filter just doesn't really fit the comic style shading imo.

Anyway, great work, I'd really like to see more of that stuff!

Thanx, man.

Ya, still in the learning process with PS...and with colour for that matter. So I play with the filters and think "cool!", but the pros would pick it out right away, wouldn't they?

More on the way, when I've got time between work, home repairs and gardening!

Re: SupraDupra!

Yeah I'm not a pro either but, I guess it's just as it works for me, if you do your own stuff you sometimes do things which don't look that good or you oversee mistakes, and only when you post it in the forum, others will point out things you wouldn't have thought about before, just because you didn't notice.

That's actually what I love about this forum, all the other guys which, unlike yourself, haven't seen your work before, can take an independent look at your work and so they just look at it from totally different angle.

I'd like to see the background in a less blueish color, maybe more grey or even with a nuance of purple, maybe it would fit the orange body better. Just my two cents.

Photoshop 5

You can hear the mice spinning in their roller cages when I open the programme up.

To be honest, I'm still very much in the learning stages with PS...

The sketch is (obviously) image based, so that took less than an hour (hand & scan method), while the PS work took several hours (spread over a couple of evenings) to complete.

I had 3DS Max on my old machine, but never used it...

I sketched it out on paper and scanned it in, as opposed to drawing directly into my compter, using my Wacom tablet.

I just can't get the 'feel' I enjoy while sketching, when using my tablet.
