Help Me Please!!!!!!!!

anybody who knows anything about cars (especially golfs) please could you give me a hand??!! a couple of weeks back i started to hear funny sounds coming from the front left wheel of my car. Its like when your CV joints go, but it does it constantly, on the straights as well as turning. And today when i went to go to work, the car wouldnt even start although its battery, gas etc is all fine. Maybe this has nothing to do with it but its a wierd coincidence. The car wants to start but just chokes straight away. Please help me someone, or if there's anyone near madrid that can get in contact please do. I NEED MY CAR!!! its a golf 1.9 D from 1992. Thanks all!
