Only half of the vents blow cold air
My grandmothers car a 95 aurora. Has a a/c issue the a/c only blows cold air on the passenger side of the car. The drivers door vent, floor, and windshield vents blow hot air. I found a post about replacing the heat controller box behind the passenger kick panel. Replaced and no avail. Anyone have some ideas?

Re: Only half of the vents blow cold air
how would low freon cause the entire passenger side of the car to blow freezing cold air. And the driver side of the car blow hot air?

Re: Only half of the vents blow cold air
that's aurora. it's kinda special vehicle. if you read more and search more you'd know that it's classic malfunction with low freon.

Have your mechanic check the Air Blend Door Actuator for the passenger side. The climate control HVAC has separate actuators for each side of the vehicle.
