H23 Engine Build
Well this is going to be a slow process being a full-time dad and working full-time…and with plans to start back to school next year…going to document it in this thread…as of right now I’m tearing it down on the weekends (and I only get like ½ a day at the most on Friday and Saturday and if I get time on Sunday) and this was the first weekend I got to start…so far I’ve seen oil come out on the intake as well as the exhaust and I think that a valve broke in the #3 cylinder
Not sure what car I’m going to put this in if I decide to put it in a car…thought about raffling it off and starting another build  but I did consider a 4th Gen sedan, ’80 civic, or a Classic Mini If I could ever get my hands on onePlans for the build: ok here it is...some of it is a little excessive, but i want it done right: CROWER HONDA H23 DOHC TURBO CAMSHAFT (PRICE PER PAIR) KIT H23 HONDA WITH TI RETAINERS & SPRING SEATS BILLET CROWERODS HONDA PRELUDE SI, ACCORD 2.2 JE PISTON KIT HONDA H23A1 2.3 NON-VTEC 3.445 9:1 DARTON SLEEVES M.I.D Sleeves SKUNK2 70mm BILLET THROTTLE BODY PRO-SERIES CAM GEARS Precision Turbo 1000cc fuel injectors BTP - BlackTrax Performance Custom Machined H22/H23 Intake Manifolds Golden Eagle CAM SEALS ARP MAIN STUDS HEAD STUD KIT AEM High Volume Fuel Rail Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Endyn Racing Oil Pump Fluidampr Viscous Harmonic Damper Honda H22 KMS Silicon Bronze Valve Guide REV – Racing Engine Valves Exhaust Valves Intake Valves Block: bore/hone the cylinder walls with a deck fixture main bearings are lined bored/honed properly according to Honda's alignment dowels crankshaft: balanced, polished and modified for better oiling,50 or 55mm mains head: P&P/deburring job Fully system balanced. Pretty cool that you're documenting all this. I hope you catalog all of your parts. Have you ever put an engine together before?

I was about to categorize the parts but decided against it b/c the internals are all going to get replaced…and I’m going to buy a manual…like either a Haynes or a shop manual that shows where everything goes…that’s the plan anyway
