1997 328is Replacement Radiator Needed

I have in my driveway a '97 328is with a broken radiator. The nipple for the upper radiator hose broke clean off the radiator tank when my friend was about one mile from their destination. Now we need to install a new radiator. I am looking for good sourses for replacement radiators in the San Francisco Bay Area, other than the parts department of a BMW dealer. Also, too, I was wondering if anyone made an "all metal" radiator for this cars. Any information others might have would be appreciated. Otherwise, I will begin researching this on my own.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know how much you trust eBay for parts for your car, but I bought my BRAND new radiator from a selleer on eBay. I think the brand was BEHR.

Also, you might want to try the following sites: www.bavauto.com, www.bimmerparts.com, www.oembimmerparts, www.foreigncarpartsonline.com. I have especially bought parts from bimmerparts.com and they worked out for me.

Re: 1997 328is Replacement Radiator Needed

Thanks for the update. When I stopped by my local auto parts store yesterday, they quoted me $144.88 for the radiator, in stock. It is now in the back of my pick up truck.

Does anyone know how to remove those two plastic clips that clamp the top of the radiator to the support?!? It looks like they want to break before they will unsnap. Is there any special trick to these or should I just break them and buy new ones?
