Fuel Pump relay help.
I recently got a 1981 380 SL and it won't start (lack of fuel). I tested the fuel pump and it works but the fuel pump isn't getting power when the ignition is on. I've been told by numerous people that the likely hood of the problem is the fuel pump relay. Three questions. Where is it located? How do I test it? and finally where can I find one for less than $130.00.
Thanks in advance Nate |

Re: Fuel Pump relay help.
It is located behind the glovebox you would see a black box about 2 1/2 inches left to right and it should have some letters on it 8ZYL when you find it take it apart look at the solders on the back of the printed circuit board look for cracks resolder it replace it just cost you $0.00...
