Lim gasket question

in the above post he said the push rods has to be remove also.....this true?
cause i got replace my lim gasket soon.
any other good advise before i start on it?

the push rod sonly need to be removed if your doing the head gaskets if your just doing the LIM they do not need to be removed

no jmoney, they do have to be removed on the V6.
aokss, I would assume that is what you are reffering too ?

Yea that link is in the Lumina..
A search in the GA forum would have shown the same problems

Anyway here is a link that'll help on the LIM
3400 SFI LIM Gasket Procedure

There are a lot of steps but this is totally do-able DIY.
Might take you a weekend if you have never pulled it apart just take your time, and take pictures or mark wires/plugs with lables
Ziplock bags work great for nuts/bolts.
