T2/T3 Turbo???
Does anyone know a company that sells T2/T3 turbos??? This is really what I want but I can't find anybody that makes them. A T3/T4 is going to be too big for me, I want some low end power without having to make all those fuel system adjustments.

no. just get a T3 turbine... it's not too big for your application if you get the properly sized housings for the hot and cold sides.
T25-28 center housings differ too much from the T3 center housing to make a hybrid unit. |

Re: T2/T3 Turbo???
I realise this is an old thread, but anyway.
The T2 and T3 turbos are a completely different style. This means you can't simply bolt T2 parts onto a T3 and have it work. Matching a turbocharger involves a lot of maths and some pretty complex thermodynamic modelling. Or you can simply copy something that works, like taking a junk yard turbo off an engine of similar size and rev range. BTW T3 frame turbos are/were available in flow ranges smaller than even a T25. |
