(I will not laugh, I will not laugh, I will not laugh, I will not laugh)

You're sadly mistaken. While I disapprove of one owner laughing at another's choice of vehicle when they've honestly put work into it, there is one core fact you've failed to notice; in 1987, the turbo Buicks were the fastest cars in America in the 1/4 mile STOCK! Honestly, with the mods you listed, he's probably putting out somewhere in the range of 400+ horsepower and as much, if not more, torque. He'll be routing it to a Posi-traction rear axle with stump-puller gears through a GM Turbo400 or 750 series 4speed automatic, and those things had stout torque converters. He's going to powerbrake, spool it to 15lbs of boost, take you off the line with the added advantage of the drag racer's layout REAR WHEEL DRIVE, and be at the tail end of those 1320ft in about 11-12, maybe ten seconds. You are toast.

Now, if you ask him to autocross against you, then it'd be him on the receiving end.

By the way, the GN's and GNX's were put on serious diets compared to the other cars on their platform. They weigh about 100lbs less than a Regal or Monte Carlo.

Thats exactly what he wants you to think. Anyone that knows anything about Grand Nationals will tell you that you honestly don't stand a chance unless you take out his engine and take his wheels off. He would probably beat you if he raced in reverse. Don't take it the wrong way, but this is like comparing a Hyundai to a Porsche.

*breaks promise* BWAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Rough Idle= Cam Lope
Vacuum Leak= Garret Air Reseaches TURBO!

You sad little man! The Buick Grand Nationals were TURBO V-6's that ran 13's from the factory! IT AIN'T A FUCKING REGAL! It's one of Buick's MONSTERS. The spiritual succesor to the old GSX that dusted Hemi Chargers back in the day. He just needs to air down the rear factory tires and catch a tailwind to pull 12's. You're talking 15's? Run home, little red badge poser, run home, before the Buford waxes your 1.6L ASS.

That hissing noise your hearing is probably his turbo spooling which equals mucho MUCHO power. His car s probably in the low 14's high 13's stock (I'm not sure). Plus whatever mods he has. You should just give up now, there's no way you'll win. [sarcasm]Does his car also go PSHHHHHHHH when he lets off the gas? Because that means that his car is going to fall to pieces any second now, it being an 80's Buick POS and all.[/sarcasm]

1-turbo, not vaccume leak
2-even if he has a bad idle, he can beat you

I have a bad idle, bad egr valve, and I run easy under 15 on pep boys tires

Yeah since you car sounds a lot better it must be the fastest thing in the world, yo. Race and find out how that horrible sounding car beats you.

Doing 15's in the quarter isn't fast either. My Trans Am can do better then that and Grand Nationals would smoke me.

Yes and you'd certainly be surprised as I would blow your doors off, completely stock.
