Hesitates while driving and mileage light dims

I have a 2001 Expedition and after the motor warms up the vehicle hesitates (jerks) while i'm driving and at times the digital read out of the mileage also dims and at one time I think it went completely blank. Any ideas of what it could be?

My 99 odometer goes out from time to time too. Can't figure what it might be either.

Same here. My '01 hesitate when cold. It wont stall, but you hit the gas and it doesnt want to go. My odometer is forever flashing or out for periods of time as well.

how meny miles are on the car? if your 90k plus, get a tune up. also, the coil on plugs short out a lot on those.
