93 aerostar window switch is stuck windows won't open
THe window switch seems to be gone on the driver and passenger side windows. THey are "frozen" up and I can't open them. I would like to fix this myself... Does anyone have experience with fixing a short or replacing the switch ? I have called a couple of places in our town to do this and they want me to leave it for 2-3 days and I can't...

First you have to be sure its a bad switch. Has it got power going to it? Has the circuit breaker/fuse blown ? To test the switch you need to remove it and use an amp meter/muti meter or even a test light and a power sorce. Dont forget if the window is jammed when you give the moter power it will blow out the circuit breaker/fuse
