New Buys
Ahh, it's been awhile since I've been here, but I finally bought my exhaust! I went with the Borla, so I hope it's what I'm looking for. Anyone know of any other headers to get for my car besides DC Sports? I hear they aren't that great?! Any other feedback? And then I also went with some Carbon Fiber TYC lights...

Re: New Buys
if you get headers it will be absolutely necessary to get a tune on your car, keep that in mind. I'd go ahead and get tuning stuff, then get headers.

Re: New Buys
ECU Flash.
someone near you might know how to tune. It involves you buying a cable online and downloading the free softwware. Then running it on a laptop (pc kinda hard to ues in car [lol]) Allows you to tune just about everything related to your engine. |

Re: New Buys
there are people on 3g forums that are glad to help for money of course and can tune your car via e-mail. It is very interesting and if i keep this thing it is on my to do list.

Re: New Buys
you will need to purchase the cable and download the program still. your friend will not have that. also, i doubt they teach how to tune a vehicle at wyotech. i'm not sure, but usually someone who owns a dyno, and is familiar with the program you will want to do anything involved with tuning.
no offense to your friend, but i wouldn't trust him with tuning your car.
