Re: Power Steering Pump Replacement '97-'03 SII 3800

Hey,

Far as power steering goes...how can I detect where the power steering oil is leaking from on my 00 GP SE w/ 120095Km?

Re: Power Steering Leak

Your post has been moved from Tips & Maintenance to the regular part of the Grand Prix forum.

Best thing to do is look for any possible fluid leaks by visual inspection, mainly from underneath the car. Safely jack it up and use a drop light or good flashlight for proper lighting. It can leak from a bad power steering pump seal, the pressure and return lines from the pump to the rack and pinion or at the rack and pinion seals.
