Question 94 runs rough help

My grand am has always been a great car but 2 days ago I started it up and it is running rough sputtering ans shaking. I am not sure where to start looking. I am also not sure how I can check codesfrom home with this car. help

Your engine sixe and mileage would help here.

Its either spark(fire) related or fuel related.
When was the last tune up ?

Do you use any injector cleaners ?

Your codes may not be able to be read by you or a standard scann tool, as the 94-95 were a hybrid ODB 1 & 2.
Which usualy requires a stealership to check the codes.

But by all means you can try, here is a link.... it has the directions for checking ODB I.

thanx, it is a V6 230,000, just had a tune up, not sure about the injector cleaner though i will trhy that
