1988 camry with a code 14

hii have 1988 camry with a code 14 in the ecm. it is no signal from the ignitor to the ecm on circuit igf 4 to 5 times in a row. when this code is a hard fault the car will run rough and stall. i have put a in a ignitor. distributor, and ecm still the problem is happening after about 5 min driving light on engine stalls. i can see the signal drop out on the lab scope. i do not know if this is an input or out put of the ecm. anyone with any info on this system would be great.

Re: 1988 camry with a code 14

This is the factory maintenance manual for your car. It's from the Factory Service Manuals thread at the top of the forum. Your answer is in the ignition or electrical wiring drawings chapters. http://www.camrymanuals.com/index.ph...04#article_104
