Overheating Problems

I own a 1999 Dodge Dakota. I am having overheating problems. I have a new water pump and t-stat. The temp goes up whenever anything but the heater is on. Once I turn the heater on the temp goes back down. The water is clean and so is the oil. There is a little foam in the water but that is it. I recently took it to a shop and they did a pressure check and lost no pressure. They did a block check and it was OK. They said nothing was wrong with my Head Gasket. I'm totally comfused.

Re: Overheating Problems

I think the radiator core is plugged up. Feel the top and bottom hoses and they should be hot indicating good circulation. Do the hoses have springs in them indicating they won't collapse.
A friends son had a Dakota and this was the problem.
