Power Window Motor Issues 1990 Buick LeSabre Custom
Ok-- I am pretty sure i have identified the power window motor/ solenoid as the culprit for why my window is stuck halfway. is there anyway to override the motor so i can get the window up? i went into the doorframe to see if i could push it up from the inside and no luck. it is stuck solid. can i get the window up without breaking motor track, etc? the a/c is good so i really don't have a need for this window to roll up and down for now. just want to get it in the up position and get it fixed later when i can afford it. thanks!

You might be able to remove the power window motor and then rotate the gear/shaft manually to raise the window. Just watch out for the large spring holding tension. Don't let it fly.
