Angry 98 s10 blazer problem

I have a 1998 s10 blazer that has a problem, Big Suprise. The directionals are clicking all the time even when they are off. Right now this is only annoying but I'm worried it could lead to bigger problems. The blinkers work and they shut off when they are supposed to but the click click click is constant. Does anyone have any insight to this problem or experienced the same?

Blinker Problem

Have you checked the blinker relay? It looks like a small can. I don't remember where it is located at but, if you listen for the clicking, you should be able to find it. Hope this helps.

Re: 98 s10 blazer problem

Captain610 is right. It is the MFS, and is a common, expensive little annoyance. Kind of like the "ghost wipers" and "sometimes power windows" that some of us are plagued with.
