Giz - have you been to the grand mesa
area, just outside of Grand Junction between there and Montrose?
It's an area that has over 300 lakes, from what we've been reading. Can't believe I haven't thought to go there sooner.

Nope, never been there. Havent been to very many places on the west slope unless I was just passing through.
