What Wrong With THis???
tried using some toothpaste to polish one of my tegs and now he black is dull. it is supposed to be gloss but because of the toothpaste it is now dull
what went wrong any tips

Dude i would test it on an old model before you go and do it on the real thing. That sucks.

what method are you using? damp cloth? dry cloth? rubbing hard? rubbing lightly?

have tried this before and i was using a wet cloth but dont know why this happened, what is the real way to use toothpaste?

I've tried it before using a wet cloth, and colgate gel toothpaste. I had to rub really hard. I assume the people that have done it used some older style paste toothpaste. The effort required isn't worth it, you're better off with automotive polish or tamiya rubbing compound.
