Code Reader - What's a good one to get?
I want to get a code reader. I have a 2000 Odyssey.
What's a good recommendation? for under $200 I would like one that can do Honda specific codes - My local mechanic use his on my car once and it didn't get a proprietary code; I had to go to Honda. His was a very expensive unit - can small consumer ones get all the codes? Thanks in advance |

Re: Code Reader - What's a good one to get?
Sorry, don't think you'll find an inexpensive (<$200) reader that will retrieve Honda specific codes last time I looked. Things may have changed, but I think this is still true. I'd check out the big three consumer brands - Equus, Actron, and AutoXray. The professional models made by OTC and SnapOn (and others) probably read Honda codes, but I'm not sure.....Glen
