2001 Windstar- no codes but shudders

I have a 2001 Windstar and I have noticed while on cruise at various speeds the van will shudder momentarily at 65 , 75 mph . It doesn't appear to be accelerating when this occurs . Recently changed fuel filter and gas cap ( gas cap due to code ) . Transmission seems to be OK . I have checked the MAF ( voltage ) also cleaned it . Could it be the EGR valve ? I am not getting any codes either . Appreciate all ideas .

Try some fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank. Long shot, but worth a try for the cost.

Re: 2001 Windstar- no codes but shudders

my 95 was doing the same thing, some of the problem was 2 plug wires arcing out causing an engine skip, but the rest of it was torque converter shudder, i serviced the tranny and added a bottle of lubegard red and drove it about 50 miles and now it seems to be gone
