Angry My new, old car.

Just bought a 2000 jetta Gl, and i'm having trouble with it. I need to know how to check the tranny oil, and both of ''check engine'' and airbag light came on. On VW's do you get a lot of pressure coming out of the oil filler. What about the rpm's are they always so high. when at 60 its about 2800rpms.

Re: My new, old car.

2.0L automatic revs at 3000rpm at 65-70mph, thats normal.

You cant really check the fluid level at home without a scan tool.

You also need a scantool to check the codes and airbag light codes.
