wheel hub replacement question

I'm going to be replacing my the front wheel hub assy on my 2001 Grand Prix GT.
Getting the ABS/Trac Off light deal.
There are 2 tipes of Hubs, metal clip and plastic clip. I haven't check mine to see what it is, but I'm just wondering if it makes any difference if I get one that is different from what I have in the car.

Thanks

Weber

Re: wheel hub replacement question

technically no. If you have the opposite clip type from what you buy, you can remove the clip from your old hub abs harness plug and re-install it on the new one. The hubs are mechanically identical otherwise.
