Exclamation I Picked Up The Bonneville

Ok folks, the 10 grand was more then worth it. I picked the beauty up on Friday, and took her to Toronto for the weekend, where i got it on a dynojet. Great numbers!

All i gotta do now, is drive back and forth to Toronto a few times and i'll be set for racing...gotta break the engine in a bit ya know!

She's faster then shit now, i gotta get some more info on here for ya to see, but in comparison to what i had before, this is a dream! I'm going hunting when the roads dry up a bit this weekend, 5 litre mustangs and riced-out hondas, i'll have stories next week to share.

Thanks again to everyone who provided information about what kind of things i should do with the car, it's been much appreciated!!

Sweet... I've grown a liking to Bonnevilles, I have my eyes on a 96 SSEi myself.

Infact, I have a picture of one as my desktop.

Thank you!!

'96 SSEi is a good investment...they're pretty cheap to pick up too, only about 8 grand if you look in the right places.

i've seen them as low as $5500 to $6000 for ones that have less than 50k miles. I saw one that had 38k on the clock for like $5800.

Its gone now... oh well there will be others.

Not like i've got the money to buy one though haha. In time... In time.

Hehehe, in time is right!

5500 is expensive...that's American currency right? That's more then the 8 grand i quoted, as i'm in Canadian currency...maybe if you decide for get one, cross the border and save some coin?...

Just a thought!

Nice to see you have another sleeper man, try not to wrap this one around a pole.

Bonnies are slick sedans. Glad you found a good one. Comfy, quick, understated styling (until recently) and good parts supply engine wise.

Hmmm, I need a car to keep Layla out of the snow..... nah, has to be a manual. My fabulous heel & toe technique gets rusty quick in automatics. Oh well, maybe when I need something to go to board meetings in and have to look like a resposible adult.

yeah thats american dollars im speaking of... hmmmm well i dont think going to canada to buy a car would save too much. first i have to go there.. then get it home... the theres the whole problem with importing it from another country deal...

ill just stick to local ones haha..

Hehe, i know what you mean Redneck!

Octagon; my suggestion would be the Maxima with the 255hp stock and the 6 speed manual. you get your slick sedan, your performance, and your manual shift. The Maxima will have a lot more aftermarket potential then the Bonneville aswell. I went with the Bonne cuz i love Pontiacs...most reliable vehicles or all the North American cars is my experience, that makes me love 'em.

Polygon, if i wrap this one around a pole, i'll never diss another import!
Hehe, yeah right!
