removing photo etch

Hi,
I have a prebuilt diecast that i'm going to repaint and it has pe parts such as wipers and hood pins that I want to retain once it is repainted. How do I remove them without harming them?
Thanks
Chris

Re: removing photo etch

That question kind of fits into the "how long is a piece of string" category. It will depend how the parts are attached and with what kind of adhesive. In this section we are normally most interested in making sure PE parts stay attached! I guess the simple answer is - very, very carefully.
