I have had an ongoing problem with my selector switch for my heat/ac. I keep seeing posts about vacuum lines. Can anybody direct me to some sorta diagram, so I can see where the lines are. I don't want to just start tearing the dash out. Any help would be appreciated. I get air from the defrost and the floor, but not the vent. Thanks!

Re: vacuum diagram 95 blazer heater controls
Check your PM Mail.
Always check for good source vacuum first.

ALSO... any suggestions where to look at my 4WD related vacuum lines... it's now having problems there too. Are there common places they fail... due to heat/etc.? Many thanks!! |

Re: vacuum diagram 95 blazer heater controls
Make sure you have all the vacuum lines connected under the hood. Specifically on the vacuum ball. If the vacuum lines pop off of the ball, you won't have all the options like panel, floor etc. You will usually have only defrost. Make sure the ball isn't cracked too.
Not sure what year GM started it, but some years (like My 2000 Jimmy) the damn vacuum ball is inside the driver's side fender behind the ABS unit and that F*%4*@ little vacuum line will pop off if you look at it wrong, and you damn near need a mirror and a flash light to see the fitting it goes on. Hope this helps.
