Gas Gauge Problem

Ok so here is the deal, my gas gauge is "floating" it will not register what I have in my tank. Could this be a bad fuse? could it be the item in the gas tank that is bad or what I am not sure.

I got in a car accident on sunday the 8th. I could not see pulling out of a parking spot and as I was moving forward a car and my self collided . Could this have caused the reader in the fuel tank to come loose and stop working or what?

Thanks for the help.

Re: Gas Gauge Problem

does sound like your float level is broke.
might have happend in the colision

Check the fuses first though.
The tank will probly need to be droped, the float willl need replaced.
