Lightbulb Career path

Hey all you gearheads! I am 16 and i want to go into the automotive industry after i complete high-school and im in a little bit of a pickel. There are 2 feilds that i am interested in, working for a benz/ porsche maintenance shop or working on hot rods/ street rods. I enjoy both fields equally so there is no hert feelings in which career i choose. I just want one that will pay better . Any thoughts?

thx

Re: Career path

go to UTI/Wyotech and do a course in auto tech, the UTI course covers tuning then you can decide which path to persue after you finish.

Re: Career path

I got to wyotech and i have to say that not biased but if you into hot rods wyotech is the way to go the chassis fab department is awesome i'm in it now and the whole class is chassis mods. From 1930's to todays cars it isall covered. C-notch you do it in class. Build a perimeter frame.. in class. anything related is covered. I know from friends at UTI in arizona that UTI is based more around bolt on and doesn't offer any chassis classes.
