|
my car just died in the middle of the road while driving. it now just turns over and over. it dosent seem like there is any gas getting to the line. what are all the possibilities other than the fule pump , which i PRAY is NOT in the tank. please help?

Sounds like ignision modual problems. The moduals are over the spark plugs on both ands of valve cover (two outer ones) w/two bolts holding them in place. Check them out and see if there are any problems visible to the eye, and if that don't work you might want to try to change one at a time (because their expensive, between $125.00 - $150.00 each) Your best bet is to have them checked out by someone who has the tools (not cheap either). What I did when having this issue was...I had a friend who had the same car and used his good ones to test. It worked thank god, and I only had to replace one. Another option is...if your check engine light is on you can bring it to some parts stores and they will do a diagnostic check for free, with the intention you will buy the parts from them. Your not obligated though, but thats their intent.
