Question 2001 4x4 Hub Bearing Assembly Stuck HELP

Good Morning. We are trying to replace the hub bearing assembly in our 2001 4X4 Blazer... We got the 3 Bolts out we unscrewed teh ABS we have the caliper hanging out of the way, we have followed all the directions that we have found here - in our Hayes and the stupid thing won't budge ... We sprayed Penitrating (sp?) stuff then we went to Walmart and bought a torch thinking heat may help... but it won't move anyone have any ideas PLEASE!

Thank you!

Re: 2001 4x4 Hub Bearing Assembly Stuck HELP

What will not move, the CV axle end out of the hub or the hub off the steering knuckle? To get the CV out a large 2 jaw 6" puller works best so not to damage the CV but if you use heat replace that CV axle (rebuilts are $75) but this requires removing the knuckle ie ball joints and if the hub is done and 80-100k then do the ball joints now anyway or you will be in there again soon (bottom at least). Also a block od wood on the CV axle with nut loose on end so threads are messed up and a 3lb hammer works too.

Now if its the hub rusted to the knuckle that 3lb hammer is the trick - I have a 3lb dead hit plastic hammer (shot in head) that is a GM owners best tool! Great for rotors that rust to hub too.

I have put a 3 point gear puller I can practically push the axel right out of the truck. I am drenching it in penatrating oil with the puller still in place along with repeated blows on all sides with a 3lb hammer. No Movement of Hub off of Spindel. Any further Insight?
