Hi,
Just got a problem child... It is a 98 w/ 137K mi. and I like it. I like all the neat stuff on these cars. It will crank up, but to keep her running you really have to work the accelerator,( A LOT). It also pops and kinda backfires... Please help. Where do I start? Can my garage diagnose it with a computer.? Thanks, Bo

Re: 98 popping-backfire having to work accelerator
if your a novice mechanic your going to learn alot with one of these cars...sounds like its not firing well on all... any check engine lites to scan...change plugs...wires... gas filter... add a high quality over 10 bucks fuel system cleaner
