keyless entry

I programed my keyless entry about three years ago and it worked great. Now that I changed the battery it no longer works. I tried to program it again using the same door unlock button key on off on off meathod and nothing. I think what happend is when I put the new battery in the doors locked and unlocked and I did nothing. Is there a way to fix this problem other than buying a new remote? They are expensive.

Re: keyless entry

Make sure battery is correct side up (polarity) and that reprogram takes like 30 sec depressing the remote buttons so try again. Ebay used for $15 just match the #s and most will guarantee them.
