'05 Equinox vs. '03 Explorer

This is all I know:
2005 Chevy Equinox V6 with 98,351 miles

vs.

2003 Ford Explorer V6 with 58,332 miles

Price is nearly the same. Mechanically speaking which is the wiser buy, based on mileage and make/model?

Re: '05 Equinox vs. '03 Explorer

I have had AMAZING luck with my 1998 GMC Jimmy. I just rolled it to 150,000 miles and have never had a problem. One of my best friends just traded in her 70,000 mile Explorer with a ton of problems and purchased a 2007 Chevy Tahoe from me at <name removed by moderator-unauthorized advertising>. You can always do research on the two at ConsumerGuide.com and ConsumerReports.com but I would HANDS DOWN go for the GM product.
