86 HB pickup won't start- no fire

I changed the distributor & rotor & coil still no spark. I'm not a great mechanic but understand most things. I have a haynes manual but am having a hard time diagnosing the problem. Engine turns over good & rotor is turning so I know its not the timing chain.Any & all help welcomed. Truck just died while driving.

Might be in your ingition switch. Try running a wire from the pos battery terminal to the pos side on the coil and see if you get any fire if you do its your switch
