Tamiya Suzuki Hayabusa

Finally finished.

A big thanks to Steve Hemming AKA 'Hiroboy' for supplying the correct colours for the bodywork and also the marvelous Zero 2K Lacquer.

Re: Tamiya Suzuki Hayabusa

One of the best Hayabusa biulds I have ever seen...just superb alround. Hiroboy really delivered on the paint front - love that red. Awesome job.

No really, where's the model? Great finish. That was a fun and quick WIP to watch!

Re: Tamiya Suzuki Hayabusa

This is one great SOEZ. I love the finish off the 2K Clear. I've bought this clear also and will be using it in time.
Well Steve, what will be the next one?

Re: Tamiya Suzuki Hayabusa

One word: AWESOME!!! I really enjoyed the WIP, thanks for showing us this great build.

OT: One thing about the pics, do you resize them or something? Some are really "blocky" for example this one. Take a look at the "paint crossover" there you can see it quite easily.

Thanks for the comments.I did resize the pics before posting them. Not sure what you mean by the 'paint crossover' is it where the 2 colours of the tank meet? I have noticed this myself.I take the photos at 5 mega pixels but they always come out too big so I resize them to 640X480 which sometimes creates the slight blocky effect you describe. At the 5 mega pixels it is not there so it must be the re-sizing that causes it.Any ideas how to prevent it?

Sorry, yes that's what I meant. I guess this wasn't the right word for it .

Yeah that's what I thought, how do you resize them? I have a little program to resize mine which is really easy to use (just a few clicks). Here's the link click. It's to bad to show off your amazing models with this slight "blocky effect"...

But to come back to the topic any plans for your next build ?

Thanks.I'll give that other program a try to see if it is any better when re-sizing the pictures. For my next model I think I'm going to stay with the bikes and build the Hayabusa's rival the Kawasaki ZX-12R in Candy Lime green.
