91 stalls...

the other day my 91 park ave was idling all over the place and at times was acting as if it was going to stall. and at other times it was idling about 2500 rpm. today it would not start unless i gave it a little gas as starting and would only stay running if i keep the gas pedal depressed to keep rpm up. as soon as i released the gas pedal.. the engine stalled out. but started right up if i added gas as said before. does any one know what it might be?? possibly the throttle pos. sensor???

thanks for your reply
