Question Cherrybomb/glasspack resonator to quiet exhaust?

Any of you guys replaced some of your exhaust piping with a cherrybomb/glasspack to make your exhaust much more quiet? How much quieter does it get and how does it sound? I have a 2/ 3/4" cat-back brospeed piping with a no-name muffler i bought off the net..its pretty ricey loud sounding...Any input will help, thanks!

Okay first off 2.75" piping is too big. For a turbo setup you want to run 3" and your almost there. If i were you i would trash the piping that you have now and get a custom cat-back run in 2.25" pipe and yes i have heard many cars with a glasspack used as a resonator and it sounds much better. How much the glasspack quiets it down depends on the length. I would suggest one around 18". They are the same thing as a resonator and they're much cheaper. A 2.25 resonator normally runs anywhere from $50-100 depending on the quality. A glasspack will run you no more than $25. I would suggest installing it about a foot after the cat. Oh and they ricy sound may never go away if you have a crapy muffler...either way i would stick a glasspack in to tone it down.

I'm sorry, i meant 2/ 1/4 2.25 inch. Not 2.75 inch piping.
