Mitt Romney and his Caprice Collection!
Sorry to divert attention away from diagnostic issues, but thought some of my fellow caprice enthusiasts might get a kick out of this. But Mitt Romney, potential next President, owned TWO Chevy Caprice's!
As reported in the Boston Globe's series on the "Making of Mitt Romney", apparently in 1990, when Mitt Romney was worth $400 million dollars, he continued to drive his beloved but beat up Chevy Caprice to work every day when he worked as a hugely successful venture capitalist in Boston. And more notably, his wife, Ann Romney, drove the 1983 Chevy Caprice Estate wagon. This made headlines a few weeks ago when it became known to the animal rights activists (PETA), that Mitt Romney had built a customized carrier with a windshield so he could place his dog on the roof of the caprice wagon for a 12 hour roadtrip in 1983, given the lack of room inside with his wife and five kids. Whatever your political view, finally, a candidate with good taste in cars! LOL Here's the link to the picture of Romney's Caprice Wagon! http://www.boston.com/news/politics/.../romney/part4/ I think a few Caprice's would look good on the White House lawn! |

Re: Mitt Romney and his Caprice Collection!
A Caprice is about the only car tough enough to take the punishment Boston streets dish out.
It is also the car of choice in the Middle East. |
