2000 SS Steering column rattle

I've got what sounds like an internal rattle in the steering column where the wheel meets the column.... anyone have this as well? What is it?

It is the steering shaft. I talked with the dealer, and they said there is something you can grease up on it (not sure where) and it will quiet it right down for about 2-3 months, then will need more grease. Otherwise, you'll have to buy the aftermarket shaft.
