'05 Grand Prix GTP dies after fueling
Hi there,
I've had this problem starting approximatly six months after I bought it. Occasionaly after I have been driving for a while, say 30 minutes, stop and fuel it up, then pull out of the gas station my car dies. It will flux for a while while I tap the gas pedal and I can feel the power steering going on and off while it fluxes and eventually dies. Any ideas what can be causing this? I took it to the dealer 4 or 5 times and they tightened a ground wire and ran a PCM update on it, but that didn't help. I have an '05 Grand Prix GTP with around 33K miles on it. |

Re: '05 Grand Prix GTP dies after fueling
Hey, I notice the same problem with my 00' Pontiac Grand Prix Se w/ 120km. After driving awhile and filled the tank up then drive off from the gas station the car shuts off. I believe it could be the fuel injector. I notice when its hard to start i tap on the gas pedal and the car starts up right away. So it could be your fuel injector, throttle position sensor, or DEV valve.
