what gen ?
there are 3. stock specs: 1st gen "SA/FB" (79-85) all non turbo 2nd gen "FC/S4" (86-88) some N/A (146HP) and others single turbo(180HP) lighter 2nd gen "FC/S5" (89-91) some N/A (160HP) and others single turbo(200HP) heavier due to more safety. 3rd gen "FD/3S" (93-95) all TT (twin turbo with 255HP) the aftermarket is huge, 100 times bigger than for Maximas. the fastest street legal FD runs 10 second 1/4 miles. many people convert to single turbo because of all the advantages. Some people like a friend of mine swap engines (for ex. he has a 91 TII engine in an 83 car, super sleeper that runs 13s all day and he only spent $500 on the car plus $2000 on the engine/labor)

N/As last forever with the right maintance.
Turbos are realiable with the right mods (in correct order). Modding the car w/o knowing what to do cause denotation and blown mototrs
