Help With A/C

I purchased a 2000 323i i love this car and i'm hooked. When I first start it up in the morning the a/c unit turns on and all the lights are on but the blower motor does not blow sometimes for 15 minutes or so when it does start blowing the a/c is ice cold and I don't seem to have any more problems thru out the day. I am knew to bmw's any help would be appreciated

Needs a final stage resistor

ok i can purchase one but how do i go about changing it. I'm very mechanical so once I know how I'm sure I can do it

it's in the right side of the airbox. Remove side cover of center console, and lower cover under glove box. You should then have good access to heater box
