engine swap?
I have an 89 Amigo with what is probably a cracked head. Costly fix on a high mile car. Has anyone heard of engine replacements for this model that actually work out?

Re: engine swap?
I replaced my cracked head. New manufactured heads are availablke for a little over 200 assembled. You will need you cam and rockers, but it comes with new valves and etc. I got mine from a place that ordered it for me called Head WOrks in Nashville, TN. If I remember right the total cost was about 230. Good luck. It is a lot cheaper than an engine swap and mine has been working long and hard hours now for over a year with no problem at all.
