Busy Morning

So I have the jetta today, I had it yestaurday too, the RX-8 is taking a break for a couple days and since my girl isnt working for these 2 days i took the jetta.

I understand where musashi is coming from by the whole bordom thing, hell it's been very boring around here lately not much action worth telling since it seems there are an abundance of ricers that just seemed to have popped up out of nowhere and too many cops recently.

But last night and this morning I had some good run ins.

Run #1
This was last night, I was driving home and I saw a black SRT-4, so I'm thinking maybe I could get him to play. It looked stock, no exhaust at least. I know I beat one by half a car when the jetta was stock so I figured I would try to see how I would do now. So he bites and were off. It goes from a roll and I start in 2nd at 40, Turbo spools up in both cars, boost kicks in and we are neck and neck from the start. I shift to 3rd as redline comes up and I have put half a car on this guy. We're now going about 120 and I shut down with about a car and a half on him. We get to a red light and he puts his windows down.
Guy: *Laughing* I thought this was gonna be an easy kill for me. Youre not stock.
Me: Nope.
Guy: That turbo spooled fast and was loud, aftermarket?
Me: Nope stock turbo
Guy: That explains the stock exhausts and why I thought you were stock. Nice sleeper.
Me: Thanks man.
Light turns green and he puts up his window and waves by. I had a big smile on my face.

Run #2
This was on my way to work this morning. I was by my house and I ran into a RSX-s. I'm thinking to myself as I look at his paper tag, should I try to bait this guy? I've beaten them before no problem, but since I havent had fun in the jetta for a while I wanted to play. Turns out he was the one baiting me as he started revving at me. Light goes green and I get massive wheel hop, I forgot to cut the traction control, the guy gets about a car on me but that is short lived as I get to 2nd and close the gap. by redline on 2nd I have a car on the guy and 3rd I have 2 cars and still pulling. We get onto the expressway and I keep gunning it till I cant see the guy anymore, I figured he gave up after the 3rd car I had on him.

Re: Busy Morning

it always upsets me that SRT4's never want to race me on the street. I usually get ignored. . .ive raced quit a few at the track, usually its a very close race unless the srt4 isnt modded or is really modded.

Nice kills though, wish i could get a good kill

Yeah most of the time SRT-4's just ignore me cause i look completely stock, but as this guy said he thought he was gonna have an easy kill.

Re: Busy Morning

It is the complete opposite for me. It seems like every single day I have a SRT-4 flying up behind me and then letting his bov go off right next to me. I know I would easily lose if I raced one but I would still do it. Just seems like every time they have encountered me we were in far too much traffic to race.

Re: Busy Morning

Sadly, most of the sartee owners I see on the road are douches.

Dont worry, were not all like that.
