Tire Size Fit

I have an 04 Silverado Crew Cab Z71. If i were to get a 3in body lift would 35's fit on the truck? If so does anyone have these tires http://www.nittotire.com/#index%2Eti...ler%2Eoverview with this setup. If this setup is possible could you please show pics? Caqn i put a 35x12.5xR17LT tire on my factory 17in rim?

Re: Tire Size Fit

Do it! It'll work on ur stock rims with a crank of your torsion bars but after market rims might make them rub. I have the same setup except i have bfg all-terrains.

Re: Tire Size Fit

Are 12.5 wide tires not too wide for the stock rims? My tires are 305/70R17 so they are bout 11in wide now.

They're wide but they'll still fit. And the tire u have on is about 12inches wide. 305 = 305mm which is like 30.5cm which is a little over 12 inches.

I have a 3" body lift and a 2" keys and blocks lift.

ya stock blocks are 2" and i changed mine out for 4" blocks in the back. And you can only get about an inch out of ur torsion bars by cranking them and ur truck will ride like shit but keys let u go to 2" without putting too much stress on your front end components.

So right now i line up with most 6" suspension lifts and run 35" tires on a 4" backspaced rim with no rubbing at all.

thanks man. body lifts are kinda ghetto unless you cover them up good. If i was to start all over and do it all at once id just get a 6" suspension lift.

i did get bigger blocks. And add a leafs were more expensive and the shop told me to just go with the bigger blocks. Some ppl run like a 6" suspension lift with an 8 inch block in the back so im sure a 4" block cant be that bad.

Most 6" suspension lifts usually require aftermarket rims with at least 4" backspacing or so. And most ppl usually run 35s on a 6" lift. Oh and keep in mind that u should probably regear when going to a 35 or bigger tire.

On a 4x4 u gotta do front and rear diffs and u should probly get a stronger posi put in. Mine was just over 2000$ canadian installed for 4.56 yukon gears and auburn posi. I think gears alone would be about 1000$.
